The INCEPT programme project has been initiated by researchers from the Department of Intensive Care at Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen University Hospital, the Collaboration for Research in Intensive Care (CRIC), the Section of Biostatistics, Department of Public Health, University of Copenhagen and sundhed.dk, and includes collaborators from hospitals in all Regions in Denmark.

The INCEPT research programme is funded by a grant from Sygeforsikringen “danmark”, and supported by Grosserer Jakob Ehrenreich og Hustru Grete Ehrenreichs Fond and Dagmar Marshalls Fond.

The core team representing the initiating partners and applicants of the primary grant consist of:

  • Anders Perner, MD, PhD, professor at the Department of Intensive Care at Rigshospitalet and University of Copenhagen
  • Morten Hylander Møller, MD, PhD, associate professor at the Department of Intensive Care at Rigshospitalet and University of Copenhagen
  • Anders Granholm, MD, PhD-student at the Department of Intensive Care at Rigshospitalet and University of Copenhagen
  • Theis Lange, MSc, PhD, professor, senior statistician and head of department at the Department of Public Health at University of Copenhagen
